Art and FND- Session One
Session 1: The Seven Senses
This session explores how the seven senses—sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, movement, and internal body awareness—help us notice information from inside and outside the body. Through creative activities, participants will investigate how sensory experiences can influence emotions, thoughts, movement, and daily life.
Art and FND- Session Two
Session 2: Gentle Breath Experiments
This session explores the relationship between breath, rhythm, and art through gentle, accessible breathing experiments. Participants will notice how changes in breathing can influence movement, sound, mark-making, and creative expression, working at their own pace in a supportive environment.
Art & FND- Session Three
Session 3: Boundaries- Too Much, Too Little, Enough
This session explores personal sensory boundaries and the different ways experiences can feel overwhelming, under-stimulating, or manageable. Through art-based activities, participants will experiment with sensory limits and identify what feels comfortable, supportive, and workable for them.
Art & FND- Session Four
Create | Your Personal Toolkit
This final session brings together breath, boundaries, and sensory awareness. Participants will create a personal toolkit of calming, grounding, and creative strategies they can use to notice their needs, manage sensory experiences, and support themselves in everyday life.
Caring for Your Whole Self
Living with health challenges can sometimes make us feel defined by symptoms, limitations, or the parts of ourselves that need attention. In this session, we will explore a different perspective drawn from the yogic tradition: the idea that beneath these changing experiences, there is a deeper wholeness within us that remains intact.
