Community - a sense of belonging
FND is lonely.
FNDcourage is community. This retreat will host only 16 participants to keep the group small and serve everyone with FND in the best possible way.
You will meet others who “get it.” Others who will allow you to feel at home. A place where kindness, non-judgmental attitude, and compassion are leading principles.
A Place in Nature - Finding Calm
Nature heals.
We choose to hold the FNDcourage Retreat at the YMCA in Estes Park, CO.
You will be in a place in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. You will be surrounded by high mountains, amazing wild flowers, and an abundance of wildlife.
Knowledge - Nervous system regulation
FND is an expression of your dysregulated nervous system. We will offer the following:
- A dialogue each day with Dr. Moenter on FND-informed topics
- Healthy Brain Food prepared by our chef (gluten and dairy-free choices)
- Educational and interactive sessions with specialists on movement and FND, nutritional support for FND
There will be time to ask questions, deepen your understanding of FND and the nervous system, and learn from others in the community who have been on the path of health and healing.
helpful habits - yoga, Mindfulness, and more
The FNDcourage Retreat is a place where you will embrace new and helpful habits.
We offer at no additional cost:
- mindfulness practices
